Fees

The NRC’s rowing season typically runs from late March to early November. Annual fees cover this period; all memberships terminate on Feb 28 in the year following.

Membership and/or Learn to Row Form (pdf)

LEARN TO ROW

  • Basic LTR program (6 hour and a half lessons) $150
  • Upgrade to full membership upon completion of the basic program (includes an additional 4 lessons) $70

MEMBERSHIP

Annual cost:

  • Adult membership (age +18) $220
  • Junior membership (ages 12 to 18) $220
Family discount (for adult members only):
  • First member (fee $220) $ 0 discount
  • Second family member (fee $180) $40 discount
Late season discounts:
  • For rowers who want to join after Labour Day, we are prepared to discount the $220 annual fee by a percentage.

 

JUNIOR COACHING FEES

Cost /Month/Junior:

  • Junior program $60 (includes 3 lessons per week)

Note that juniors are always accompanied by a paid a coach and a coach boat. The NRC has to charge a monthly fee to cover these costs.

OTHER FEES:

Canada Aviron upgrade fee of $35 per person for those Members
who wish to compete in RCA sponsored events.

Drop in fees:

  • Cost/ Session $10

These are applicable only to rowers who are already members of a Canadian rowing club affiliated with Rowing Canada Aviron and not a resident of the Nelson area.
