The Nelson Rowing Club

is a non-profit community rowing club

located at Lakeside Park in beautiful

Nelson, British Columbia.

 

Founded in 1896, the NRC offers recreational rowing for all ages, a learn to row program for novice rowers, as well as its annual regatta the Nelson Sprints.

The NRC acknowledges that our rowing activities are in, and our boathouse is on, the traditional, unceded territory of sn̓ʕay̓ckstx Sinixt Arrow Lakes and the Yaqan Nukiy Lower Kootenay Band peoples.

Ages 12+, youths under 16 yrs must be accompanied by a parent

Discover the sport of rowing with us on beautiful Kootenay Lake.  Sessions are designed to provide those new to rowing with their first on-water experience in a safe and welcoming environment.  All are welcome. To streamline the process, please sign up for a time slot and also pre-fill the Info-waiver-form.
 

Walk-ins are welcome but be aware it may become crowded. We will send all registrants more details about the event once registration is confirmed.
